Ramsey Voters Approve $48.9 Million School Budget

Unofficial results saw voters approve the budget by a big margin.

Ramsey voters passed the 2014-15 school budget by an overwhelming majority Wednesday, according to a post from district Superintendent Matthew Murphy on the schools’ website. According to the post, an unofficial tally of election results saw 940 residents vote to approve the proposed $48.9 million budget, and only 408 voted against it.

Three incumbent board members running unopposed for seats on the board - Laura Behrmann, James Meiman, and Anthony Gasparovich – were reelected.

“We extend our thanks and congratulations [to] those elected to serve our school district community,” Murphy said in the post.
