IHA Students Win 'Soaring Eagle' Awards

A Ramsey student was among the winners.

Eleven students at Immaculate Heart Academy recently won the school's new "Soaring Eagle" awards.

The awards are given to the "students who demonstrate excellence and work to the best of their ability in a particular discipline." They have high GPAs and also demonstrate growth and the school's values of being enthusiastic, compassionate, creative and intelligent, according to school officials.

The winners include Elizabeth Crimmins (Technology) of Allendale, Siu-Yee Ching (World Language – French) of Carteret, Erin Latz (Religion) of Ramsey, Jacqueline Rogers (English) of Park Ridge, Katrina Loukas (Physical Education) of Cliffside Park, Madison Forte (Social Studies) of Washington Township, Martina Nodini (Mathematics) of Ho-Ho-Kus, Amy Cha (Music) of North Haledon, Isabelle Wolf (Art) of Wayne, Sarah Harwick of Glen Rock (Science), and Stef-Hana Sopelsa of Bogota (Communications).
