FBI Imposters Rob Ramsey Jewelry Store at Gunpoint, Police Say

The Ramsey Police and Bergen County Sheriff's Office are looking for two men who authorities say zip tied employees and stole an undetermined amount of jewelry.

The Ramsey Police Department and Bergen County Sheriff’s Office are looking for two men who they say entered a borough jewelry store Monday morning posing as FBI agents, tied up employees, and made off with an unknown amount of jewelry, Ramsey Police Chief Bryan Gurney said Monday afternoon.

At about 11:20 a.m. Monday, two people entered Aydin Jewelers on Route 17 South and identified themselves as “FBI Agents investigating a possible meth lab,” Gurney said.

One man then “brandished a handgun and zip tied three employees,” he said.
