Thursday night, the Twilight saga embarked on its final chapter. Ramsey Cinema on Main Street is showing the movie all weekend long, and still has advanced sale tickets left.
Theaters around the area sold out of show times Thursday as Twi-hards are planning to say goodbye to Edward, Bella and Jacob, played by Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
Ramsey Cinema-goers can pre-order their tickets, but need to do it in person, at the box office, and pay in cash. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for children.
According to Reuters, Twilight fans of the Stephanie Meyer book series and string of feature films that have come out over the past four years, can expect some surprises in this final film.
Viewers can expect a plot twist that creates an entirely new scene not in the book, the report said.
"[The action] is off screen in the novel because we only see what Bella sees, and this was just a way of making visual what some of the other characters might have seen," Meyer said in the Reuters report.
"It does feel very surprising. There's something new to see but to me it doesn't seem like it's going hugely off the page.”
According to People Magazine, the LA premiere of the new film also prompted the first joint public appearance of RPats and KStew since a cheating scandal prompted their public split in July. According to People, the couple has reconciled and is back together.
The Ramsey Cinema will be showing The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part Two at 4:30, 7 and 9:30 p.m. Friday, and at 2, 4:30, 7 and 9:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
