Ramsey To Kick Off Annual Relay for Life This Week

Over the past five years, Ramsey Relay has raised over $600,000

Get your walking shoes ready.

This Thursday, Ramsey Relay for Life will host its annual kickoff party at Ramsey High School.

This year’s Relay is happening in June, and teams are already forming to help raise money to fight cancer, and celebrate local cancer survivors. 2013 marks the sixth year the borough has participated in Relay for Life, a national organization that holds fundraising walks for the American Cancer Society across the country each year.

According to Relay organizers, over the past five years, Ramsey's event has raised over $600K.

Potential Relay participants new and returning are invited to attend Thursday’s kickoff, which will include food, music and information about how Relay works in Ramsey, and how to sign up. Get more information in the attached flier above, or by emailing the borough’s ACS Staff partner Jessica Gaeta at Jessica.Gaeta@cancer.org
