Cracking the College Audition

Broadway Theater Workshops to host
"Cracking the College Audition" On Wednesday, April 9, Robin Irwin, award-winning director and Broadway performer, will conduct a FREE INFORMATIONAL DISCUSSION for all those sophomore and junior students and their parents planning to apply to college theater arts programs.  "Cracking the College Audition", Ms. Irwin's program, provides one-on-one coaching in the many facets of the college theater arts process including:  identifying colleges with strong theater arts programs, evaluating the fit of a student to each of these colleges, choosing and preparing audition material and individual coaching for an effective audition.  Proven successful, Ms. Irwin's students have been accepted into some of the most premier theater arts programs in the country including:  Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Carnegie Mellon, Penn State, Florida State, UCLA, Syracuse University, University of Michigan, Ithaca College, Elon University, Northwestern University, Boston Conservatory, Pace University and Emerson College.

Ms. Irwin's Broadway credits include: Titanic, Grease!, and Dance of the Vampires.  She is one of the most sought after acting coaches in the New York metropolitan area and has been an integral part of the Broadway Theater Workshops program for the past 8 years.  In 2011, she was recognized by Montclair State University for her work on the St. Joseph Regional HS production of "A Few Good Men" when it was awarded the "Most Outstanding Drama in the State of New Jersey".
